RESERVATIONS & BOOKING
Following your initial enquiry, your safari may be reserved either through your preferred agent or directly with us.
A safari is considered confirmed once:
We recommend securing your preferred dates well in advance to ensure availability during peak seasons.
Deposits
Plains Game Safaris
A deposit of 50% of the daily rates is required to secure your booking.
Trophy fees are determined by the year in which the safari takes place.

Cape Buffalo Safaris
A minimum deposit of $5,000 is required to confirm your booking.
Trophy fees are determined by the year of the safari.
PAYMENT TERMS
The balance of daily rates is payable upon arrival at camp.
Trophy fees are settled at the conclusion of your safari.
We accept bank transfers and major credit cards for your convenience.
Please note that exchange rate fluctuations may result in minor variations in credit card transaction amounts.
TRANSACTION SURCHARGE
Credit card payments are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
YOUR SAFARI EXPERIENCE INCLUDES
Personalised airport transfers to and from the nearest airport to your hunting destination (unless included as part of a package).
All required hunting licence fees.
The services of a highly experienced Professional Hunter, supported by a skilled tracker and fully equipped 4×4 hunting vehicle.
Standard safari equipment as required.
A dedicated safari team including trackers, skinners, chefs, and camp staff ensuring seamless service throughout your stay.
All land transportation during your safari.
Luxury accommodation, all meals, soft beverages, local beers, house wines, selected spirits, Wi-Fi, and daily laundry service.
EXCLUSIONS
Daily rates do not include:
International and domestic air travel
Shipping, taxidermy, dipping, packing, and export-related services
Arrival day fees (first night in camp)
Trophy handling fee of $250 per hunter
Day trips and additional excursions
Inter-provincial transfers unless pre-arranged
Rifle hire and ammunition
Baiting fees where applicable
Transfers not conducted by your assigned Professional Hunter
Gratuities for your safari team

WOUNDED GAME POLICY
In keeping with ethical hunting practices, any animal that is wounded or struck — whether recovered or not — will be considered taken, and the full trophy fee will apply.
GRATUITIES
Gratuities remain entirely at your discretion and are always appreciated as recognition of exceptional service.
Preferred method: USD cash
Alternatively, gratuities may be added to your final account and distributed according to your wishes
The hunting outfitter will be pleased to guide you on customary tipping practices.
INSURANCE
For your peace of mind, we strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel, medical, and hunting insurance prior to arrival.
CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS
Cancellations within 6 months of the safari start date:
Deposits are non-refundable unless the safari can be rescheduled within the same season.
Cancellations more than 6 months prior: 5
0% of the deposit will be refunded
The remaining 50% may be applied toward a future safari within the same season
We will always endeavour to accommodate date changes where possible, subject to availability.
LIABILITY
While every precaution is taken to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, participation in a hunting safari involves inherent risks. Olive Ridge Safaris, its owners, employees, and associates accept no responsibility for any illness, injury, loss, delay, or damage to persons or property during the course of the safari.
